Financial Assistance

Making Christ-Centered Education Accessible

At Alliston Community Christian School, financial aid exists to ensure that a Christ-centred education remains accessible to families with
financial need. Our program is designed to support households that value our mission but may need assistance bridging the gap between
tuition and their financial reality. Families can begin the process by completing our confidential financial aid application, which guides you step-by-step through the information needed for assessment. Once submitted, our team reviews each application with care, and families are contacted directly with next steps and award details.

Please note – For new families, applying for financial assistance should only be done later in the application process; after meeting with the principal and/or admissions team.

Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST)

Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST)

ACCS uses Independent School Management’s online service called Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) to process applications.

FAST does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much Alliston Community Christian School will give; rather, the FAST program provides a need-based financial aid analysis service, which results in a recommendation about how much a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition.

All information provided in the FAST application process is kept confidential. Results are reviewed by the ACCS Finance Committee, which makes recommendations to the principal based on the school’s budget. Upon approval, financial assistance offers are then presented to the applicants.

Reapplications for Financial assistance must be submitted each school year.

Deadlines

The online application submission deadline for all applicants is June 10th. Applications may still be made after this date but the availability of bursary funds at ACCS may be more limited.

Tax Information Needed

After completing the online application, you will be required to upload your tax documents to FAST for verification purposes.

Your tax return must follow the submission of the online application and be submitted to FAST by June 10 as well.

Determination of Financial Assistance Available

Our goal is to have an award determination by the time re-enrolment contracts are issued in mid- to late-June. While no financial aid procedure can be entirely equitable – there are simply too many individual factors and extenuating circumstances – this process serves our school community well. Among its many features is the ability to further secure your financial data, and maintain the high degree of confidentiality that past recipients most appreciated.
