1. Do you have any problems with ticks in the forest? We do not, but you can follow this link if you have any concerns.
  2. I understand ‘indoor shoes’ are required. What style is required? A: The indoor shoes can be any style you like according to your preference. The should not have black soles that can scuff the floors. Kids usually wear sports “sneakers” ranging from basic to more fancy, but there is no specific style. Just neat and comfortable. Here is an example.
  3. The Volunteering hours required for new ACCS family is 30hrs. Does that apply to each parent or only totally to a family? Volunteer hours are 15 hours per parent, so two-parent families contribute 30 hours and single-parent families only 15 hours. At the beginning of the school year, we send around a form where you can indicate what type of volunteer work you would be willing to contribute. There are always opportunities for a range of skills at Alliston’s Attic, the thrift store we operate in Alliston to support our school financially.
  4. How do you want us to provide the $250 enrolment deposit? If you can make an e-transfer to finance@allistonccs.com that would be preferred. PayPal is also an option to principal@allistonccs.com, but we ask that you add the $10 fee we incur.
  5. We notice that payments can be made over 10 months. When do those start? The first payment is required on August 1. That leaves June and July free of payments. The first month, in the case of new enrolments, can deduct the $250 enrolment deposit.
  6. What is your protocol for COVID-19? The plan is subject to change as conditions vary, but you can find the latest protocol here.
  7. We would like to meet with the Principal or another staff member, but school is not in session. Is this possible? Yes! Make a booking here and we will do our best to be available.
