Psalm 46:1, 10 God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

You may recall that last week, we considered The Tongue based on
James 1:19, 20 where he says, “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.” This week, the focus is on handling pressure. In my life, sometimes those two concepts are related–how we handle our tongues, and how we handle pressure. Am I the only one? Often, under pressure, I find that it is helpful to remember that God is totally in control of every detail, that He cares for His cause, an that His purposes will never be thwarted. We probably all have stories of how we at first were frustrated by what seemed like God loosing His place in the program, only to find out that it was actually for the better!

Report cards are just around the corner. You are encouraged to schedule interviews with the teachers at https://www.allistonccs.com/ptc/ as soon as you can. We are planning to send them out electronically on the coming Thursday (or earlier), and manually by the Friday.

Have you left your testimonial on the ACCS website? Here is one:
Best of All Worlds! We’ve had our child in Montessori, Public school, and even Homeschooled for a year. ACCS offers the best of all of these because of the commitment to Christian Education by parents, teachers, and staff. The students, teachers, parents, and staff truly love and care for one another. Academics is important here, too. When my child returned to the public school, she found it too easy. Naturally, we returned and we are so thankful. The students are expected to do most of their schoolwork in cursive writing, which is good for developing minds as well as motor skills. Canadians shouldn’t lose the ability to read cursive. How will future generations be able to read historical documents or letters? May God bless all those considering ACCS for their own children!

Have you heard? A person’s sneeze can travel at speeds of about 100 miles per hour! Imagine if your sneeze fueled your movement!.
Canada is an interesting place. Did you know… Canada is home to 15 million cattle, 9 million of which live on the Prairies.

Think about it:
“Education…is painful, continual and difficult work to be done in kindness, by watching, by warning,…  by praise, but above all — by example.” — John Ruskin

Prayer Corner:
Do you wish you would pray for other countries more, but don’t know where to start? Pray for  Ghana.
Father in Heaven,
Thank You for Canada! I’m grateful for a nation of opportunity, personal freedoms and religious liberty. I pray today that You will continue to keep Your hand of blessing on our nation . . . for our children and grandchildren. Raise up a new generation of leaders who know that our hope lies in You. We also uphold our school theme (Think Biblically, Act Differently – Romans 12:2). Let there be divine fruit on that emphasis at ACCS. Bless our mission emphasis chapels we are running now; use them to stir up more love for Your cause! Thank You for the school building we have and the resources You have given us to educate our children. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
