This week (Week 37, 3 to go), let’s consider the startling truth that tuition is less than you think! Have you looked at the online calculator that calculates the actual per day cost per child? It will amaze you! You may say it’s risky at this time to refer to tuition, but I am confident that your children have not only received a quality, albeit scaled back, education, but one which will sufficiently prepare them for the coming academic year. In this context, I want to connect with our verse of the week from John 3:30: He must increase, but I must decrease. Lightheartedly, we might think it should say enrolment must increase, but tuition must decrease. There is a key here, though, connecting these concepts. How is it that we can offer the quality education (now and before the current situation) at a fraction of the cost of what the public schools do, and for less than home schoolers do*? For the latter, it is simply economies of scale. For the former it is the fact that in the Christian community there is the undeniable principle of Christ first, me second (or last). May this be our personal and collective refrain: He must increase, but I must decrease!

Btw…Have you left your testimonial on the ACCS website? Here is one:
1st Generation Student says … I joined ACCS the first year it opened as one of four grade 8 students. Although we were 3 grades in the same classroom our education was second to none. My children also attended and graduated as second generation. If I had the opportunity, my grandchildren would also attend. I thoroughly recommend this school. I like the familial aspect of it as well as the fact that staff are 100% approachable and accessible. Thank you for all you do!

Have you heard? The longest chapter in the Bible is Psalm 119..
As for general trivia about Canada, did you know … The US, the UK and Mexico are the top countries visited by Canadians.

Think about it (hint: context matters):
1 Chronicles 25:8  “Young and old alike, teacher as well as student, cast lots for their duties.”

Prayer Corner:
Would you like to pray for a country this week? Please pray for  Haiti.
Gracious, loving God,
As this school year draws to a close, we lay it all before You. Bless what was good. Cleanse what was impure. Add to what was inadequate. Breathe life into what was dead. Prune away what hinders. Sanctify us. Fix our eyes on You. May we die to self and ever live for You! This week we also commit to You Mrs. Martin (our Music, Drama and private lesson teacher). Thank You so much for the solid academic foundation our children receive at ACCS. In Jesus’ precious Name.
